THE WAY I USED TO BE
Ten or twelve years ago we were all quite different.
Before the activity:
Everyone will bring a photograph of themselves 10 or 12 years younger. Don't show it to anyone yet. Make groups of 3 or 4 students. Photos of each group will be kept in an envelope without looking at them.
Activity:
In groups talk about the way you used to be or you didn't use to be. Ask your partners if they have changed a lot, the way they looked, their life, etc. while a spokesperson makes notes. When everybody finishes talking they will report to the rest of the classmates about those who have changed the most in each group.
End of activity:
The teacher hands in the envelopes to the groups and they share their opinion, now that they can compare.
